A step above and noticeably hotter, cazimi derives from the Arabic term kaṣmīmī, translating to “as if in the heart.” In astrology, a cazimi happens when a planet is extremely close to or perfectly aligned with the sun, positioned right at its intense center.
Sun conjunct Jupiter
Referred to as the “Day of Miracles,” a Jupiter cazimi takes place when Jupiter, the planet representing joy, fortune, wealth, boundless potential, laughter, wisdom, and metaphorical diamonds underfoot, is less than one degree away from the sun.
A cazimi acts like a solar booster or purifier, where a planet’s natural energy is intensified and magnified due to its closeness to the sun’s dramatic influence.
On Tuesday, the planet of growth, optimism, and abundance is getting a solar tongue kiss at 3º Cancer — the first Jupiter Cazimi in this sign since 2013!

Consider creating a money bowl and/ or placing fruit, symbolic of the seed of possibility becoming the bounty of reality, on your altar.
Jupiter also loves tin and gold, so bring your metals. The planet of plenty always opts for the top shelf, reminding us of our own worthiness — so offer a bottle of the best stuff you can afford.
