Back in the nation’s capital, Melania Trump marks a significant milestone—the 180th day since the signing of the Fostering the Future Executive Order. This initiative, one of her core projects, aims to enhance support for foster children, reflecting her dedication to this cause.
In contrast, director Brett Ratner accompanied President Trump aboard Air Force One to China. Ratner, known for directing “MELANIA,” the first lady’s self-titled documentary, has stirred discussions online about Melania’s absence from such a pivotal diplomatic event.
A source with knowledge of the situation clarified to The Post that Melania was unaware of Ratner’s presence in China. “The first lady only collaborates with Mr. Ratner on her film,” the source emphasized.
It’s important to note that Melania Trump was never slated to join the trip. The summit itself faced delays, initially postponed by a month due to the ongoing conflict in Iran, further explaining her nonattendance.
The first lady was never scheduled to go on the trip, even before its original date was pushed back by a month because of the Iran war.
“The first lady has prioritized America’s families and children in her initiatives here at home and is focused on these responsibilities at the present time,” the source said.
