TUCSON, Arizona — In a developing story, The Post has discovered several additional gloves in the same vicinity where the FBI previously retrieved a black glove, potentially connected to the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie.
The Post’s team was present during Sunday afternoon’s discovery in Catalina Foothills, located about two miles from the residence of Savannah Guthrie’s mother, known for her role on the “Today” show.
Although it remains uncertain if these discarded gloves are linked to the ongoing investigation, The Post has promptly informed the Pima County Sheriff’s Department of their findings.

All the gloves were located in close proximity to the highway, suggesting they might have been thrown from a moving vehicle.
A notable finding included a blue glove, one of three discovered by The Post, seen near the southbound lane of the highway traversing the Catalina Foothills neighborhood.
It is a secluded spot with no houses or buildings, but with various side streets leading off into suburban subdivisions.
The highway is on the most likely route Nancy’s abductor would have taken if they were heading south from her house toward Tucson or the Mexican border.
The news comes after the FBI said that a black nitrile glove found in the same area “appears to match” a pair seen being worn by the masked suspect in doorbell surveillance footage taken the night of Nancy’s disappearance.
Officials are awaiting confirmation on DNA results, which usually takes around 24 hours to come back, the agency said.

Last week, a total of 16 gloves were found about two miles from Nancy’s home — and it’s not uncommon to see gloves and other litter in the desert.
However, The Post’s discovery — so close to the area where possible evidence in the case was found — suggested authorities did not do a broader search of the area after finding the glove.
The armed, masked suspect — seen on Nancy Guthrie’s Nest doorbell cam the night she was abducted — appeared to be wearing two pairs of gloves — black nitrile gloves over thicker gloves.
