Dozens of illegal immigrants arrested at Florida construction sites

Immigration authorities announced on Tuesday they had arrested more than two dozen illegal aliens at construction sites in Florida.

The raids occurred in Wildwood, Florida, as part of worksite enforcement efforts, shared by Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) Tampa on their X post.

Wildwood, a city in Sumter County, is about an hour northwest of Orlando.

He added that when he first became governor, Florida allowed sanctuary cities.

Governor DeSantis remarked, “Things got tough after Joe Biden assumed office in early 2021, as his campaign indicated a move away from strict border policies. It’s clear we need regulations. Americans have the right to decide who can enter the country, and it’s essential to enforce these rules. Failing to do so leaves the impression that violations will go unpunished. The Biden administration, however, seems to have disregarded these principles.”

Fox News Digital reached out for comments, but there was no immediate feedback from the Department of Homeland Security, Florida Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles, ICE, and ICE Miami.
