Chaos erupted on Coney Island Beach Monday with the arrest of at least 16 teenagers after a brawl at the bustling shore, as seen in video footage and reported by law enforcement sources.

The altercation began around 6:30 p.m. on the beach and the iconic Riegelmann Boardwalk near West 15th Street, then extended to nearby streets, according to police and sources.

The commotion unfolded as crowds of teens gathered at the favorite summer spot during New York City’s record-breaking heat, leading to a significant police response.

It’s unclear what sparked the brawl, and there were no immediate reports of injuries.

Footage shows multiple teens in handcuffs being led away by NYPD cops as a sea of teens congregate on the sand.

It’s unclear if the teens seen being arrested in the video were involved in the fight.

At least three dozen officers created a human barricade as cops tried to restore order to the chaotic scene.

Several chases broke out, and a female paramedic was crashed into as a scrum of cops sprinted after a suspect, the video shows.

Officers caught up with the suspect and slammed him to the ground next to a row of park benches and flowering bushes, according to the footage.

The teen chaos spread across the boardwalk to Brighton Beach, almost a mile to the east, as the mercury topped out in the 90s across the city.

One young man was chased down by officers to an area underneath the boardwalk and tackled, according to another video obtained by The Post.

It appeared the teenager was complying as four officers were crouching on top of him when suddenly one of the cops tasered the suspect on his calves and the back of his knees.

A teen in the crowd shouted: “What are you doing?” as the suspect thrashed in the sand.

Police had no comment about the use of a Taser on the teen in Brighton Beach.

Charges are pending in all of the arrests, and the incident remains under investigation.

Earlier this month, several fights broke out during a high school senior skip day party at Jones Beach State Park, forcing police to disperse the group with a helicopter and temporarily shutting down the beach.

A large group of youths from several high schools in Nassau County and Queens gathered on the Wantagh, Long Island, waterfront when some of them started throwing punches, with several fights starting in different pockets of the group of high schoolers.
