Patrick McEnroe and Rich “Big Daddy” Salgado are forming an impressive partnership off the court.
The tennis expert and the renowned NFL insurance specialist, both hailing from Long Island, are introducing a podcast that will delve into the untold stories and unique insights about celebrity figures such as Michael Strahan, Bryan Cranston, Mike Tyson, Brandi Chastain, and the Miracle on Ice captain, Mike Eruzione.
“It’s an exploration into what drives these individuals,” McEnroe, known for his work with ESPN, shared with The Post prior to his departure for the French Open.
The podcast, fittingly titled “The Mac Daddy Show,” promises engaging content.
McEnroe initiates with probing questions, while Salgado—an influential figure in the NFL and NHL who is known for his willingness to assist anyone, famous or not—adds his distinctive charm and humor.
“It’s like broadcasting my everyday life for everyone to enjoy,” remarked Salgado, the CEO of Coastal Advisors and co-founder of MyTermLife.Ai.
“You’d be so shocked to hear how relatable their lives are and how they like to have fun, too, and deal with serious issues,” added Salgado.
Cranston opens up about his lifelong love for the Los Angeles Dodgers, and Eruzione, a proud Italian descendant, stunningly revealed that he doesn’t like pasta.
“I was shocked to hear that,” McEnroe admitted.

“He did the interview with a sign behind him that read ‘Life, love, and food,’ ” added McEnroe, a former player and brother of tennis icon John McEnroe.
That’s exactly the sort of stuff they hope will turn the soon-to-be-released show with lots of video elements into a grand slam.
“I think we’re going to be able to get some different lanes with people,” McEnroe added. “Bring some different stuff out.”
