A video shows a pigeon flying inside a Delta plane’s cabin in Minneapolis, as a passenger screamed and a man attempted to catch the bird with his jacket.
The incident onboard Delta Flight 2348 late Saturday delayed its arrival in Madison, Wis., for around an hour.
“Upon boarding Delta Flight 2348 at MSP tonight, I overheard another passenger informing a flight attendant about a pigeon on the aircraft. The pilot addressed the passengers, confirming the presence of a pigeon on the plane, and admitted he had never dealt with such a situation,” passenger Tom Caw shared on Instagram. “Baggage handlers came onboard and removed the pigeon. The passengers cheered. A young girl asked if she could pet it.”
“The plane eventually pulled away, taxiing to the runway, when yet another pigeon appeared! Here’s my video showing it flying through the cabin,” Caw added.

In a statement to Fox News Digital, Delta said it “appreciates the careful actions of our people and our customers to safely remove two birds from the aircraft prior to departure and we apologize to our customers for the delay in their travel.”
