Massive Project X-style party with over 2,000 people at celebrity's LA mansion causes utter chaos

A sprawling mansion party in one of Los Angeles’ upscale neighborhoods spiraled into disorder after thousands of people crowded onto the property, prompting multiple police calls over a large fight and a report of an allegedly armed man before officers moved in to shut it down.

As many as 2,000 people reportedly gathered Monday at the Tarzana home for a massive pool party, according to TMZ.

The sheer size of the crowd overwhelmed the quiet San Fernando Valley area, turning nearby streets into a packed scene and drawing a significant response from Los Angeles police.

The event was tied to Streamer University, the digital creator boot camp launched by popular online streamer Kai Cenat.

The Los Angeles Police Department told KTLA that calls about disturbances at the property, located in the 4000 block of Mecca Avenue, began coming in around 4:30 p.m.

According to the LAPD, the initial report described a “large party with 1,000-plus people in a residence and a large fight outside.”

Additional calls about disturbances continued through the afternoon and into the evening, including one around 8 p.m. that reported an allegedly armed man at the scene.

By about 10 p.m., officers had arrived and started clearing the property, escorting groups away from the mansion and dispersing people who were lingering in the surrounding neighborhood.

An LAPD helicopter circled overhead as officers used a loudspeaker to order people outside to clear out.

“If you’re on the sidewalk, you didn’t make the cut. Go home,” officers could be heard announcing in video obtained by KTLA.

Preliminary information indicated the party was hosted by Cenat as part of his Streamer University program, though it was not immediately known if the 24-year-old internet personality was there.

Cenat has amassed a combined 38 million followers across Instagram and Twitch and founded Streamer University as a boot camp for aspiring and growing online creators.

Its participants included former Disney star Skai Jackson and “Love Island USA” contestant Jeremiah Brown, while Cenat regularly brings celebrities and prominent creators into the program as “professors” and “club directors.”

The upscale home at the center of Monday’s gathering is no stranger to large events, according to neighbors.

Residents told the outlet the property regularly hosts large gatherings, which has frustrated the neighborhood.

Despite the enormous turnout and multiple disturbance calls, Los Angeles police said no injuries were reported and no arrests were made.
