On Saturday, November 15, 2025, the community came together in Queens, New York, to honor the memory of fallen FDNY firefighter Patrick Brady. Friends, family, and fellow firefighters gathered in solemn remembrance at the Church of St. Francis de Sales in Belle Harbor, a place of deep personal significance as it was where Brady had exchanged vows with his wife. Tragically, Brady, aged 42, lost his life in the line of duty when he suffered cardiac arrest while valiantly fighting a fire on a building’s roof. In recognition of his bravery and sacrifice, the fire department posthumously elevated him to the rank of lieutenant.
