A dramatic rescue unfolded in California on Wednesday when a woman was airlifted to safety after her vehicle plunged off a cliff, descending approximately 100 to 150 feet, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.
“This morning, LAFD air and ground teams executed a challenging rescue operation after a vehicle veered off a cliff along Mulholland Drive in Studio City,” the fire department shared in a Facebook update.
Video footage from the scene in Los Angeles captured the intense moments as the woman was carefully lifted from the steep terrain into a rescue helicopter.

The Los Angeles Fire Department confirmed the successful extraction of the woman from the vehicle that had tumbled over the cliff’s edge.
Following the rescue, the woman was transported to a trauma center for further medical evaluation, according to LAFD officials.
