Breville Joule Smart Oven Air Fryer Pro review: 20% off on Amazon

Before this appliance found its way into my life through a client’s kitchen (I work part-time as a private chef, just so you know), I was simply a girl in an apron that was too small, trying to achieve golden edges from an unpredictable push-pop toaster oven. But now? I pop a sheet pan in, select a recipe on the app, feeling as though I’m launching a NASA satellite, and in 30 minutes, I’m removing caramelized miso-glazed salmon as if it’s just another routine Monday.

Yet today isn’t just any Monday. It’s the Monday when the Breville Joule Smart Oven Air Fryer Pro became available for $100 off on Amazon. For Breville, discounts like this are almost unheard of unless it’s Black Friday or Prime Day specials.

When I first tried the Breville Joule, I air fried za’atar chicken thighs while chatting on FaceTime with a client and reorganizing the spice rack. It felt like having a sous chef — except this one doesn’t breathe, talk, or mess up the temperature. The oven connects to your phone, guides you through recipes with precisely timed steps, and modifies the cooking based on the actual food being prepared. It’s like having foresight. It’s saying, “don’t worry, I’ve got this.”

The Breville Joule Smart Oven Air Fryer Pro is an 18-in-1 countertop beast with a patented Element iQ system, which means it uses smart algorithms and sensors to direct power exactly where and when it’s needed for optimal cooking. It comes with 13 presets (toast, roast, air fry, dehydrate, etc.) and a companion app that guides you step-by-step, adjusting temperature and timing in real time. Its spacious interior fits a 14-pound turkey or a 9×13” pan, and yes, it’s as good at pizza as it is at souffle.

Also, it’s gorgeous. A chrome monolith that sits smugly on the counter and radiates competence. It bakes. It roasts. It air fries without turning the whole kitchen into a sauna. And, again, it’s 20% off on Amazon right now, which feels illegal considering this thing could out-cook half the folks on Top Chef.
