A shooting and crash in Florida that resulted in three people being charged was a result of road rage, police say.

At around 3:20 p.m. on Monday, a driver in a Jeep Compass was waiting to make a left turn out of a parking lot. Meanwhile, a Buick sedan driven by Anthony Williams turned left into the lot, cutting in front of the Jeep. Williams parked, and the Jeep driver, Raesean Poole, reversed his vehicle to address Williams about the lack of a turn signal, as reported by Bradenton police on Facebook.

Williams and a teenage passenger got out of the Buick, and Poole alleges that during their encounter, Williams brandished a gun. Video footage from the scene shows Poole attempting to leave several times but stopping to continue the argument with Williams.

In what police describe as the “final confrontation,” Poole drove the Jeep towards Williams, hitting a stop sign and a tree before striking Williams’ leg.
