Savannah Guthrie Has Direct Message for Mom’s Kidnapper 25 Weeks On

Savannah Guthrie issued a deeply personal appeal Monday, directing what she called a “very specific” message to the person responsible for her mother’s disappearance, more than 25 weeks after 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie vanished from her Arizona home.

In a heartbreaking Instagram post, the “Today” host spoke directly to the individual behind Nancy Guthrie’s kidnapping, saying her loved ones remain trapped in anguish and are determined to keep searching until they find answers.

Guthrie said months have passed since her mother was taken, but the pain for her family has not eased. She described their ordeal as an unending nightmare, adding that they have done everything they can and will continue looking for Nancy. The absence, she said, has left a permanent ache and a painful emptiness in their hearts.

Turning her plea toward the person she believes can help, Guthrie urged them to make the right decision now. She asked them to reveal where her mother may be found and help bring the family’s suffering to an end, emphasizing her belief that it is never too late to choose what is right and find a way back.
