A startling video captures a man calmly chatting on his phone despite having a sharp object protruding from his back, following a stabbing at an East Harlem subway station on Tuesday afternoon.
The 29-year-old man is seen sitting in a wheelchair, being escorted to an ambulance, with a green-handled weapon clearly visible lodged in his upper back.
The victim, whose identity has not been disclosed, was taken to the hospital and is reported to be in stable condition.

The stabbing occurred on the southbound No. 4 train platform at the 125th Street and Lexington Avenue station around 1:20 p.m., according to police reports.
The attackers, described as two men clad in ski masks and black clothing, escaped and are still at large, authorities stated.
