In one instant, a duo of food influencers were relishing salmon sliders for a YouTube review; the next, they were fleeing for safety as an SUV burst through the front glass of a brunch restaurant in Houston, Texas.

As Nina Santiago, also known as NinaUnrated, and Patrick Blackwood filmed a food review at Cuvée’s Culinary Creations in Houston on a Saturday, their cameras were already capturing the scene when an SUV crashed into the establishment.

The dining area was showered with glass as the duo darted from their seats, seeking cover while bewildered staff stood momentarily in shock. The footage shows employees looking on in disbelief as sharp fragments descended, covering the floor in the immediate fallout.

Santiago wrote on Instagram that the glass came “out of nowhere” right as she “bit into a delicious salmon slider.”

Following their near-death experience, both Santiago and Blackwood took to social media to share their thoughts.

“This incident reminded me who truly matters; life’s too precious for resentment or anger. Release, forgive, live in the present, and value those you care about — that meal could’ve been our last,” Santiago expressed on Instagram.

“Grateful to see another day, walking away from the small stuff with a big purpose! Live bold, love deep, and make every moment count,” Blackwood wrote on his Instagram page.

The restaurant reposted the video to its Instagram Stories, writing, “It was definitely a crazy weekend at Cuvées. We’re just thanking God everyone is safe!”

It was not immediately clear what led to the crash. Fox News Digital has reached out to the Houston Police Department for comment.
