Authorities are actively looking for an armed individual after a shooting incident at a University of New Mexico dormitory that left one person dead and another injured, as informed by campus representatives.
In a message shared on X, the University of New Mexico reported that the campus police were alerted to gunfire early Friday morning within the Casas del Rio housing complex. Upon arrival, officers discovered one individual deceased and another wounded but anticipated to recover. The suspect remains at large as the investigation continues.
