911 call released in NJ therapist’s killing
WARNING, GRAPHIC CONTENT: Authorities have released the harrowing 911 call placed by Conor Hanlon after he discovered his wife, therapist Brooke Hanlon, fatally stabbed inside their New Jersey home. The recording captures Hanlon in a state of panic as he reports the scene to emergency dispatchers.
The husband of slain New Jersey resident Brooke Hanlon, 35, has been seen returning to the family’s Chester home for what neighbors describe as weekly visits.
Conor Hanlon, 36, has reportedly been stopping by the Chester, New Jersey, property on a regular basis. Neighbors said he has appeared at the home on Thursdays and Fridays, with his white Volvo SUV parked in the driveway during daylight hours but never left there overnight.
News Outlet also observed Hanlon in Massachusetts last month, where he was seen moving trash cans and getting into a white pickup truck in Brighton, the Boston neighborhood where his family is from.
Brooke Hanlon was found dead inside the couple’s home on June 6. The Morris County Prosecutor’s Office is investigating her death as a homicide, though officials have not publicly identified a suspect or named any person of interest.

Conor Hanlon has not been charged with a crime and has not been accused of wrongdoing. News Outlet contacted him seeking comment.
Neighbors said they have seen Hanlon performing yard work outside the Pottersville Road residence during his visits. They told News Outlet his white SUV has been spotted in the driveway during the day, but it does not remain parked outside the home overnight.
Hanlon has been moving in and out of the home, with neighbors who have spotted the garage door open on several occasions.

On Friday, Hanlon spoke publicly about his wife’s death for the first time, denying any involvement while declining further comment due to the ongoing investigation.
“My heart is totally shattered,” he told the Daily Mail. A reporter asked him if he had any involvement in his wife’s death, to which he said, “Of course not.”
“It’s a tragedy,” he added.

Neighbors tell News Outlet they remain on edge as law enforcement has yet to release any update in the case.
One of them said about three weeks before the young mother was discovered dead inside her home in early June, local police showed up knocking on doors to “check in” with residents on Pottersville Road after they reportedly told them a “911 call was made in the area.”
