The incident occurred at Cross Keys Airport in Monroe Township as a Cessna 208B was taking off around 5:30 p.m., according to a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) spokesperson who spoke with Fox News Digital.

Gloucester County Emergency Management said multiple agencies were assisting with the “mass casualty incident” at the airport.

Wendy Marano, a spokesperson for Cooper University Hospital, informed Fox Philadelphia that the five injured individuals were anticipated to be taken to the hospital in Camden for treatment.

The airport serves mostly private passenger planes. Fox News Digital has reached out to the agency.

Gloucester County OEM was asking people to avoid the area.
