Chaotic video footage shows multiple gunshots ringing out overnight in Miami Beach, causing bystanders to run for cover in a stampede, WPLG-TV reports.
In the footage, which was uploaded to Twitter, at least four gunshots can be heard while police with sirens move down a busy street near the intersection of Ocean Drive and 9th Street just after midnight Sunday.
After the gunfire, police officers can be seen in the video running down the street, where two victims were found. A third victim showed up at a nearby hospital.
A female victim was shot in the leg and another had to be carried away on a stretcher.
Conditions of the victims were not immediately available but all three are expected to survive, WSVN-TV reports.
Police took someone into custody, although it is not clear whether that person is the suspected shooter. Several hours after the incident, investigators appeared to focus their attention on a sidewalk cafe, where they reportedly found a bullet casing.

The Miami Beach shooting is among several instances of crime and tragedy at spring break destinations around the United States this year.
In Corpus Christi, Texas, three people were injured when a fight broke out on Friday, leaving a 30-year-old man in critical condition, according to KIII-TV. A 16-year-old girl and a 19-year-old man also were injured in the incident but are expected to survive.
And earlier this month, six West Point cadets overdosed on cocaine with fentanyl in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, CNN reports. Four of the students were hospitalized as a result. Police subsequently arrested a 21-year-old man for selling the drugs.
