Alton Hobbs, aged 37, finds himself in custody, charged with multiple offenses related to an altercation on South Woodlawn Street.
ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. — The St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office announced on Friday afternoon the arrest of a man linked to a contentious brawl that escalated into a stabbing incident.
The altercation reportedly took place on South Woodlawn Street this past Wednesday.
According to the SJSO, several individuals were involved in the fight. Upon arriving at the scene, deputies discovered a man who had sustained stab wounds, and he was subsequently transported to a nearby hospital for medical care.
Authorities stated that during the confrontation, Alton Hobbs, 37, brandished a knife and inflicted injuries on the victim.
Hobbs is currently charged with probation violation, aggravated battery using a deadly weapon, and engaging in a fight.
The victim’s identity and the name of the individuals involved in the fight were not released.
