Jude Bellingham teamed up with French football legend Zinedine Zidane to promote Adidas’ Y-3 range in a stylish new advert on Thursday.

Zidane, who sported Bellingham’s No 5 shirt during his illustrious career at the Bernabeu, was part of Real Madrid’s star-studded Galacticos team of the early 2000s, which included the likes of Ronaldo Nazario, Luis Figo and David Beckham.

Bellingham has made no secret of his admiration for Zidane, admitting he was ‘like a child’ when he met the icon for the first time during the 2022 Champions League final, but he cut a cool and composed figure alongside the World Cup winner as the pair posed together in all-black jackets.

Captioning the new Y-3 advert, ‘One team, two generations, three stripes,’ Adidas unveiled the photographs on social media on Wednesday, garnering a positive reaction from awestruck fans.

Arsenal legend Ian Wright wrote, ‘OKAY!!!!!!!’, in response to the advert, while ex-Manchester United star Rio Ferdinand reacted with the freezing cold emoji.

Bellingham has flourished at the Bernabeu since joining Real Madrid from Borussia Dortmund for £113m last summer.

In a stunning debut campaign for Real, the 20-year-old sensation has already chalked up 29 goal contributions across 31 matches in all competitions, scoring 20 and assisting nine.

Real Madrid currently sit at the summit of LaLiga, seven points clear of Girona in second, and edged into the Champions League quarter-finals with a 2-1 victory on aggregate over RB Leipzig on Wednesday.
