A newly obtained incident report is offering a clearer look at the final known movements of a South Carolina fitness trainer before she vanished.
Elena Katherine Moore, 39, was found dead nearly a week after she disappeared on June 11, following a visit to a Planet Fitness gym in Lexington, South Carolina. In a June 22 update, the Lexington County Coroner’s Office said a forensic autopsy found no evidence of bruising, lacerations, gunshot wounds, stab wounds, blunt force trauma, strangulation or other external injuries.
The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division is still investigating the circumstances surrounding Moore’s death. Meanwhile, an incident report obtained by News Agency has provided new details about where she was believed to have gone in the hours before she disappeared.

Moore’s husband, Brannon Slice, went to the Lexington Police Department on June 12 to report her missing. According to the report, Slice told officers that Moore had been released from an undisclosed facility before 2 p.m. on June 11. The facility’s name was redacted in the report, but Sondra Campbell, a close friend of Moore’s, told News Agency that Moore had been released from a mental health facility at the time.
After her release, someone arranged a taxi for Moore, the report states. During the ride, she asked the driver to stop at a CVS in Lexington. That stop became the last time the cab driver saw her. When Moore did not return to the taxi, the driver went inside the store to look for her but could not find her.
Slice later went to the Planet Fitness location Moore frequently visited. An employee told him that Moore had signed in at 6:38 p.m. on June 11, according to the incident report. Authorities have said she was last seen leaving the gym and walking toward a nearby wooded area. She was found dead on June 19.

No one, including her husband, has been accused of any wrongdoing or charged with a crime. Lexington Police Department Inspector Missy Silcox told Newsweek late Tuesday that Slice “is not a person of interest at the current moment.”
Sondra Campbell, who was close friends with Moore, previously told News Agency that Moore tried to leave the relationship in the past.
Campbell said that something felt “very different” the last time she saw her on May 31.

“She was scared for her life. She actually said those words to me,” Campbell said. “Elena is one of my best friends. I’ve known her over probably 10 years now. We’re really close like tell each other everything. She’s been that person for me for a long time.”

According to LPD Chief Terrence Green, authorities found the body after getting a tip that led investigators to a new search location.
Moore was last seen walking through the Publix parking lot at 100 Old Cherokee Road in Lexington on the night of June 11.
