Bloods affiliate NYC street gang started war sparked by murder of teen: DA

A Bloods-linked street gang waged a two-year campaign of violence in Queens, carrying out 11 shootings that wounded three people and left one man paralyzed, prosecutors said Tuesday.

Blitz Gang 4, based around the Baisley Park Houses in South Jamaica, is accused of targeting members of rival groups including the MacBallers, Floss Money Ballers and the Crips-affiliated 5th Clocc. The violence escalated in the months after a BG4 member fatally shot 17-year-old Akim Cisse in September 2024, Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz said.

Katz announced a 97-count indictment against alleged members of the gang. Among the accusations, prosecutors said one defendant was recorded directing a 15-year-old to kill a rival outside a McDonald’s in Cambria Heights in March, then remained at the scene and allegedly misled responding officers by pointing them in the wrong direction.

“As alleged, the wanton violence between members of Blitz Gang 4 and Floss Money Ballers has terrorized Southeast Queens communities for the past two years, putting countless innocent residents at risk,” Katz said during a news conference.

She said the arrests would make “the streets of Queens” safer heading into the summer.

Prosecutors said one of the most brazen attacks tied to the feud took place in broad daylight outside Queens Criminal Courthouse in December 2025, when a group of gang members was seen beating a rival before one person in the group stabbed him.

Authorities also cited a February shooting outside a Sweet 16 celebration in Queens as part of the alleged pattern of violence.

Katz described the indictment as the second phase of her office’s wider effort to curb gang violence in Southeast Queens. Nine months earlier, prosecutors brought charges against BG4’s alleged rivals, the Floss Money Ballers.

The gang’s alleged violence over the last few years has left at least three people wounded — including the person stabbed outside of the Queens Criminal Courthouse and one man paralyzed after being shot in the back inside a South Jamaica home, prosecutors said.

Another incident, which was caught on camera and obtained by The Post, showed a March 2026 incident in a Queens McDonald’s parking lot, where a 19-year-old BG4 member allegedly ordered another 15-year-old member to pull out his gun and “boom” a rival who they had spotted — or hand him the weapon and he’ll do it himself.

“[19-year-old] Noah Thomas ordered a 15-year-old defendant to shoot the rival or hand him the gun himself, so he could do it, and the 15-year-old fired multiple rounds at the suspected rival,” Katz said.

Members would allegedly travel into enemy territories on missions to hunt rival gangs, and would even brag about their violent motives through songs and videos posted to Instagram, according to the indictment.

Despite the massive indictment, three suspects still remain at large, the DA said.
