Trader Joe’s is on a growth trajectory, set to unveil 25 new stores across 14 states, broadening its reach beyond its already robust expansion plans. This beloved grocery chain, rooted in California, revealed on Wednesday that it has nine more stores in the pipeline, boosting its roster of upcoming openings to over two dozen.
While the exact opening dates are yet to be disclosed, Trader Joe’s has pinpointed all the new locations. The company expressed enthusiasm about integrating into new neighborhoods, emphasizing their ongoing dedication to community engagement through initiatives like the Neighborhood Shares program.
The upcoming wave of Trader Joe’s stores will span various states, including Arizona, Florida, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, New York, Ohio, and Utah, underscoring the brand’s strategic expansion into diverse markets across the country.
“We are proud to be joining the neighborhood, and to continue our commitment to providing nourishment to the surrounding communities through our Neighborhood Shares program,” the company said.
The new round of storefronts spans Arizona, Florida, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, New York, Ohio and Utah.
The nine new locations across eight states include:

- Massachusetts: Quincy (111 General McConville Way)

Details surrounding the store openings â including store size, parking capacity and inventory offerings â remain limited beyond the listed addresses.

As of May 20, Trader Joe’s opened four new storefronts across the country earlier this year, including one in Hamden, Connecticut; Miller Place, New York; McKinney, Texas; and Woodinville, Washington.
The chain, known for its private-label products, affordable prices and upbeat shopping experience, currently operates stores across 42 states and the District of Columbia.
States currently without a Trader Joeâs location include Alaska, Hawaii, Mississippi, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, West Virginia and Wyoming.
