Human remains found in search for missing 6-year-old Noel Rodriguez-Alvarez

In a harrowing development linked to the disappearance of 6-year-old Noel Rodriguez-Alvarez, authorities have discovered human remains. These remains were uncovered during a search behind the child’s former residence in Everman, Texas, last Thursday, according to a report from KDFW. While the identity of the remains is yet to be confirmed, this finding has intensified the investigation into the tragic case.

Everman Police Chief Al Brooks addressed the media during a press briefing, explaining the circumstances of the discovery. “During a legally sanctioned search at the previous home of Noel Rodriguez-Alvarez, we found human remains,” Brooks stated. He emphasized that the remains are now with the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office, which is responsible for conducting a forensic analysis to establish a definitive identification.

Chief Brooks cautioned against jumping to conclusions, reminding the public that, “No official identification has been made as of yet.” This statement underscores the careful process required in confirming such delicate findings.

The case’s chilling nature is further compounded by allegations against Noel’s mother, 41-year-old Cindy Rodriguez-Singh. Authorities claim she was physically abusive and involved in occult practices. Disturbingly, she reportedly deemed her son, who had special needs, as “evil” and possessed, which she allegedly used to justify her abusive actions.

As the investigation proceeds, the community remains on edge, hoping for clarity and justice in this deeply unsettling situation.

Noel’s 41-year-old mom, Cindy Rodriguez-Singh, believed her special needs son was “evil” and possessed by a demon, which she used as a pretext for the alleged abuse.

Rodriguez-Singh worshipped the Mexican folk deity “Santa Muerte,” a personification of death commonly associated with drug cartels.

The timeline of Noel’s disappearance reveals a harrowing sequence of neglect and deception beginning in October 2022, when the boy was last seen appearing malnourished following the birth of his twin siblings.

Over the next month, Rodriguez-Singh skipped Noel’s essential medical appointments for his chronic lung disease and vision issues, while simultaneously applying for passports and researching travel to India for every family member except Noel.

By March 2023, as authorities initiated a welfare check, Rodriguez-Singh allegedly provided false claims that Noel was with his biological father in Mexico or had been sold at a local market.

Just hours after her husband stole $10,000 and disposed of a carpet suspected of containing human remains, the couple fled to India with six of their children, leaving investigators to uncover a grim history of alleged abuse and the eventual discovery of remains at their former residence.

In October 2023, police had concluded that Noel was mostly likely deceased, around a year after he was last seen.

Rodriguez-Singh was arrested in India last spring and extradited to the US. She was determined incompetent to stand trial.
