Tragedy struck off the coast of Hawaii on Thursday when a helicopter crash claimed the lives of at least three individuals and left two others injured.
The Kauaʻi Police Department reported that they received an emergency call around 3:45 p.m., alerting them to a helicopter crash near the scenic Kalalau Beach.
Authorities identified the aircraft as belonging to Airborne Aviation, with a pilot and four passengers on board at the time of the incident.
In an official statement, it was confirmed that three people perished in the crash. The two survivors were transported to Wilcox Medical Center for medical care.

The helicopter went down along Kauaʻi’s north shore, a region renowned for its breathtaking helicopter tours, which showcase the dramatic cliffs, pristine beaches, and cascading waterfalls of the Nā Pali Coast.
