The woman who previously accused ex-MLB pitcher Trevor Bauer of sexual assault has now been detained for allegedly attacking emergency personnel during a drunken outburst.

Lindsey Christine Hill, aged 30, was arrested on April 26 in Cumberland, Kentucky. She reportedly “kicked, punched, and screamed” at EMS personnel who were trying to place her in an ambulance while she was extremely intoxicated.

Officers from the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office, located about an hour northeast of the Tennessee border, responded to Hill following a 911 call about a “drunk and disorderly” individual at a local restaurant.

When authorities arrived at the Sulphur Creek Hotel, they observed several restaurant employees keeping Hill from jumping into the lake to retrieve her cellphone, according to a citation obtained by The U.S. Sun.

Sheriff officials described Hill as having dilated pupils, glossy eyes, “smelling strongly of an alcoholic beverage,” and her speech was “extremely slurred,” police records said.

But as officers attempted to speak with Hill, she became “unpleasant and irate,” raised her voice, began using vulgar language, and told one deputy she was “not going to put up with me,” the citation read.

Hill was eventually arrested on charges of public intoxication, but became more aggressive as deputies transported her to the Burkesville Police Department.

“Ms. Hill continued to scream and attempt[ed] to break my divider and window in my patrol vehicle,” a deputy wrote.

Deputies said Hill then suffered what was believed to be an “emergency medical situation,” which led them to call EMS officials.

“As we were trying to get her put onto the EMS table, Ms. Hill was again, screaming, punching, and kicking anyone she could reach,” the citation added.

Hill was eventually taken to the hospital and then transferred to the Adair County Jail after being released.

She was charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place, disorderly conduct in the second degree, assault in the third degree, and driving on a DUI suspended license.

When Cumberland County Sheriff deputies ran Hill’s name, they learned that her driver’s license had been revoked in Tennessee for a DUI-related incident.

Hill was also charged with an animal cruelty offense after leaving her dog inside her car in the parking lot of the restaurant in the Sulphur Creek Hotel without water.

Deputies described Hill’s vehicle as “uncomfortably hot for any person or dog.”

The dog was taken to an animal shelter in Albany, Kentucky, about 20 minutes east of Cumberland.

After learning about Hill’s recent arrest, Bauer blasted the MLB and its commissioner, Rob Manfred.

“That’s their superstar right there,” Bauer wrote on X.

“Apparently, the more likely you are to get drunk and actually commit crimes, the more they actually back you, whether it’s getting you back on the field or using you to take someone else off the field.”

Bauer’s representatives declined to comment when approached by The U.S. Sun.

Hill did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

BITTER LEGAL BATTLE

Hill made headlines in June 2021 after she accused former major league pitcher Trevor Bauer, 34, of sexual assault and rape.

In her lawsuit, which has since been dropped after the Los Angeles County district attorney declined to file charges against Bauer, Hill claimed she agreed to have consensual sex with the former baseball star, but did not agree or consent to be physically and emotionally assaulted.

Hill accused Bauer of using her own hair to choke her until she blacked out, punched her several times in the head, and buttocks.

In light of accusations against him, Bauer was hit with a two-year suspension by the MLB after determining that he had violated the league’s policy on sexual assault and domestic violence.

Bauer, a former All-Star and 2020 Cy Young winner, has maintained his innocence and called Hill’s allegations of sexual assault “baseless and fraudulent.”

The former Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher and his legal team filed a defamation suit against Hill, to which she countered with a lawsuit accusing him of assault and sexual battery.

Both parties have since settled their lawsuits.

However, last October, Bauer sued Hill after she allegedly violated certain terms of their agreement that forbid her from saying the pitcher or any of his representatives “paid her any money as consideration for the settlement,” according to the Los Angeles Times.

In his recent lawsuit, Bauer cited 21 claims Hill allegedly made on the Apple podcast Breaking Balls and social media.

Each alleged violation would cost $10,000, the outlet reported, citing the terms of the parties’ settlement.

Bauer’s attorneys have asked a court to award the pitcher over $307,000 in damages and fees.

Hill has not contested or responded to the suit, the Los Angeles Times reported.

Bauer has not pitched in the MLB since 2021 and has continued his professional career overseas in Japan after signing with the Yokohama Bay Stars in January.

He spent the 2024 baseball season in Mexico, pitching for the Diablos Rojos del Mexico in the Mexican League.
