In a recent announcement, President Trump shared that he has secured some well-known performers to step in for the “no talent” artists who withdrew from a festival marking America’s 250th anniversary. The event, which promises to be a grand affair, is set to take place on the National Mall in Washington, D.C.
Trump took to Truth Social to build excitement for the celebration, scheduled for Wednesday, June 24th, at 7 P.M. Describing the capital as “magnificent” and “totally beautified,” he emphasized its status as one of the safest cities in the world. “In celebration of our Country’s 250 Year History, we will be bringing you, LIVE, the Greatest Rally, EVER!” he exclaimed.
The president has promised an extraordinary event, dubbing it “a rally to end all rallies.” His vision for the event includes a focus not on high-priced performers who fail to resonate with the audience, but rather on a more personal gathering. “We don’t want singers with no talent, but big fees to put you to sleep, we’ve told them all to stay home,” Trump remarked. “All we want is you, me, a few speakers, and the Greatest Music ever played, the same Music you have listened to for years!”
Among the featured performers, Trump revealed, will be the esteemed Lee Greenwood, who will introduce the event with his iconic hit, “God Bless the U.S.A.” Joining him will be Christopher Macchio, whose vocal talents Trump likened to the legendary Luciano Pavarotti. Macchio is set to perform classics such as “Nessun Dorma,” “Hallelujah,” “Ave Maria,” and “God Bless America.”
In addition to these individual performances, the event will showcase the musical talents of the US Army Band, Armed Forces Choir, US Marine Band, and Joint Armed Forces Chorus. These groups will deliver renditions of “all of your favorite Hits,” adding to the patriotic atmosphere of the celebration.
The US Army Band, Armed Forces Choir, US Marine Band and Joint Armed Forces Chorus will also perform âall of your favorite Hits,â according to Trump.
âPLUS a fine and highly dignified gentleman known as, President DONALD J. TRUMPâ will speak at the rally.
Freedom 250, a group created via executive order by Trump, had announced last week that it booked several artists to perform at the Great American State Fair festivities.
Many of them, including Morris Day, Young MC, the Commodores, Bret Michaels and Martina McBride, backed out after learning Freedom 250 was tied to the Trump administration â claiming to have been misled or citing other grievances.
