President Trump celebrated his just-passed “One Big Beautiful Bill Act” Thursday night as “a declaration of independence from a national decline.”
At a substantial rally held at the Iowa State Fairgrounds, Trump, aged 79, announced that the bill fulfills his significant campaign pledges to reduce taxes on tips, overtime, and Social Security benefits.

“With this bill, every major promise I made to the people of Iowa in 2024 became a promise kept,” Trump said.
“We had a national decline. We were a laughing stock all over the world. We had a man as president who shouldn’t have been there,” he said.

“We now truly possess freedom from the excessive taxation that was overwhelming us,” he stated. “There’s also independence from over-regulation, from radical-left bureaucrats, and from what I believe is the largest alien influx any nation has ever faced.”
Trump highlighted that his groundbreaking legislation, set to be signed on the White House lawn this Friday, “incorporates the largest tax reduction, the most significant expenditure cut, and the greatest investment in border security in the history of America.”
