Trump says he has given Iranian negotiators 'immunity from death'

On Sunday, President Trump asserted that he has extended an “immunity from death” offer to Iranian negotiators amid ongoing peace discussions.

Speaking to Fox News, Trump assured that Operation Epic Fury remains “under control” despite the recent downing of two US military aircraft over the weekend.

“We’ve provided them with immunity from death,” Trump explained regarding the Iranian negotiators. “We are in discussions with the top officials,” he noted.

Trump emphasized that preventing Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon is non-negotiable. “This issue isn’t even on the table for negotiation—it’s already settled. Most of the points have been agreed upon,” he remarked.

Nonetheless, the president issued a stark warning that if Iranian leaders fail to swiftly reach a deal, he is “considering drastic measures, including the seizure of oil assets.”

“You’ll witness infrastructure like bridges and power plants being targeted across their country,” he stated.

Trump separately told Axios that his team, including special envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, are in “deep negotiations” with Iran.

He boasted to the outlet that when he “felt [Iranians] were not being serious,” he would order an attack on a bridge.

Earlier Sunday, Trump posted a foul-mouthed tirade on Truth Social, echoing his declaration to send Iran “back to the Stone Ages where they belong’’ if peace fails to emerge.

“Tuesday will be Power Plant Day, and Bridge Day, all wrapped up in one, in Iran,” Trump posted on Truth Social. “There will be nothing like it!!!

“Open the F—in’ Strait, you crazy b—–ds, or you’ll be living in Hell. JUST WATCH! Praise be to Allah,” he wrote.

A few hours later, he added, “Tuesday, 8:00 P.M. Eastern Time!” indicating that he was extending the deadline for the strait’s opening.

Trump originally imposed a brief pause on strikes against Iranian energy facilities, which is in effect through Monday.
