Trump Rallies in Georgia, Touting the Trump Accounts, New Policies, and Key Economic Wins

Trump Highlights Trump Accounts, Policy Agenda and Economic Record at Georgia Rally

President Trump returned to Georgia on Wednesday for a rally at Wheeler High School in Marietta, where he promoted his administration’s economic agenda and urged support for two Republican candidates: gubernatorial nominee Rick Jackson and U.S. Senate nominee Rep. Mike Collins of Georgia’s 10th Congressional District.

The event opened with remarks from Jackson, Education Secretary Linda McMahon and Small Business Administration Administrator Kelly Loeffler before Trump walked into Wheeler Auditorium to loud applause from the packed crowd.

Trump opened his address by celebrating his return to the state:

He told supporters he was “thrilled” to be back in Georgia, praising the audience as “proud, hardworking American patriots” and saying that, with their help in 2024, he received more votes than any candidate in the state’s history.

The line drew another wave of cheers. Trump then quickly turned his attention to the news media, prompting boos from the audience as he criticized reporters gathered at the event.

He joked that he had to choose his words carefully because, as he put it, the “fake news” would scrutinize every claim. If he were even “two votes short,” Trump said, the media would accuse him of lying, calling them “sick individuals” and again labeling them “fake news.”

Trump followed those attacks with a direct message of appreciation for Georgia and its voters:

He said he remained proud of his vote total in the state, adding that he has “always loved” Georgia and has been fighting for its residents “like no president has ever fought before.” Trump told the crowd the state was doing well and pledged to keep it that way.

Trump continued, acknowledging that he came straight to Georgia from Dover Air Force Base, where he attended the dignified transfer service and paid homage to four fallen heroes who were killed in action in the Iran conflict. Trump then spoke about First Lt. Tyler Feehan from Georgia. After the dignified transfer, Feehan’s family – his mother Shari, his father Stephen, and his uncle David – were headed back home, so President Trump transported them home on Air Force One.

Trump gave a beautiful homage to Lt. Feehan and to his family.

Trump updated the audience on the conflict with Iran and the military action taking place, then moved into the administration’s economic wins, with the Trump Accounts being the focal point.

Trump began:

But perhaps most consequential of all is the provision that the Great Big Beautiful Bill that we’re celebrating today… it’s something that’s beautiful, it’s beautiful because it takes care of our youth. It’s called the Trump Accounts and it’s hot as a pistol.

It’s hot as a pistol!

And under this groundbreaking new policy, every American child gets a tax-free investment savings account that can grow over the course of their childhood and be used for them when they reach 18, or 21. Their parents, grandparents, employers, and loved ones can contribute up to $5,000 a year — and with the modest contributions, these accounts will reach hundreds of thousands of dollars for these young people by the time they get to — let’s say 18, let’s say 21. But by the time they’re just young adults, they could be worth hundreds of thousands of dollars, most likely will be.

And for decades, Washington politicians gave our children absolutely nothing but debt —but the Trump Accounts, we are finally seeing and ensuring that every young American gets a great start in life, and a really fair shot at the American Dream, which is what we all want, they all aspire to that.

And under this system, every newborn child gets $1,000 dollars deposited in their Trump Account at birth. Think of that: from the United States Government. The government is finally giving money back to our children.

Trump brought families to the stage to offer visual testimonials of the benefits of the Trump Accounts and how their investment in American families could change a generation. Trump was joined by Cole Loden and his family, a Georgia resident and former Kennesaw State football player. And Dean and Gabrielle Fung-a-wing and their four children. Fung-a-wing is a legal immigrant from Suriname, who presented his American story: how he and his wife built a business, and how he opened Trump Accounts for his four children in order to invest in their future.

“Standing with me today are my wife and our four beautiful children,” Fung-a-wing said. “We opened Trump Accounts for each of them because investing in the next generation strengthens the fabric of America.”

President Trump also took potshots at Sen. Jon Ossoff (D-GA), the radical Left, and talked about the lies of the Democrat Socialists and the destructiveness of communism.

Trump said: “Communism is the single greatest threat to our country and our history. […] It is the enemy of the free people everywhere and in the world. It’s squalor, it’s poverty, it’s death, it’s destruction. That’s why we declare again today that the United States of America will never be a communist country.”

WATCH:

While our Administration is lifting up the next generation with the power of freedom and American Capitalism… the Radical Left is actively trying to destroy our children’s future with the disaster known as Communism,” says @POTUS.

As I said in my recent address at Mount Rushmore… Communism is, in my opinion, the single greatest threat to our Country in its history—including even World War One, World War Two, Pearl Harbor, 9/11… It is the enemy of Free People everywhere…

Communism is a loser… That’s why we declare again today that the United States of America will never be a Communist Country.

Trump concluded with promises to push the Great Healthcare Plan to move healthcare out of the hands of insurance companies and back to the American people’s control, and pledged once again to pass the SAVE America Act.

“To defend American elections,” Trump said. “And I have to say, Mike Johnson and Congress have done a great job, but we’re having a hard time in the Senate. The Senate… What they’re doing, it’s just not right.

“The Senate is the place where you send things when you want them to die.”

And what would a Trump appearance be without the Trump/YMCA Dance? As usual, the president did not disappoint.

Editor’s Note: The 2026 Midterms will determine the fate of President Trump’s America First agenda. Republicans must maintain control of both chambers of Congress.
