President Trump is set to hit the campaign trail in upstate New York next week alongside Republican gubernatorial hopeful Bruce Blakeman, The Post has learned.
Trump will appear with the Nassau County executive at a campaign event in Syracuse on Oct. 9, according to a source familiar with the president’s plans.
A second source said Trump is also weighing more campaign appearances in upstate New York later this month.
Blakeman’s campaign has spent the past several days urging Trump to join him in parts of the state where Democratic Gov. Kathy Hochul could face political vulnerability.

A recent Siena College poll showed Blakeman trailing his Democratic opponent by 9 points—a considerably narrower gap than Hochul held over Republican Lee Zeldin in 2022.
The survey also indicated that Blakeman had cut into Hochul’s advantage, putting the two candidates within striking distance of one another at 47% to 44%.
A separate Quinnipiac University poll painted a much different picture, showing Hochul with a sizable 58%-to-39% lead over Blakeman.
Trump endorsed Blakeman late last year, praising him as a “fantasic guy” and predicting he would “win the big November election.”
