In a recent exchange that underscores the ongoing tensions within the Republican Party, former President Donald Trump deftly addressed remarks made by Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia. Greene had asserted that global issues should not detract from Trump’s “Make America Great Again” (MAGA) agenda, specifically criticizing President Joe Biden’s involvement in the Russia-Ukraine conflict.

During an impromptu press conference in the Oval Office, Trump was asked by CNN’s Kaitlan Collins to comment on Greene’s statements. The congresswoman had urged her fellow Republicans to prioritize “America first policies,” encouraging domestic policy discussions at the White House rather than continuous focus on foreign policy matters.
