On Wednesday, news broke that President Donald Trump has instructed the President’s Counsel to investigate if specific individuals conspired to mislead the public regarding Biden’s mental health and unlawfully wielded Presidential powers.

The memorandum from the President directs the counsel, with input from Department of Justice Attorney General Pam Bondi and, if needed, any executive department leaders, to examine various issues. This includes reviewing “policy documents where the autopen was utilized, such as clemency grants, Executive Orders, Presidential memoranda, or other Presidential determinations.”

This investigation was initiated following an announcement by House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer. He revealed that he is issuing a subpoena for Dr. Kevin O’Connor, the White House physician during the Biden-Harris administration, as part of the ongoing inquiry into the alleged cover-up of Biden’s decline.
