Welcome to the RedState Weekly Briefing, your one-stop roundup of last week’s most popular stories you might have overlooked. As we ushered in the first full week of January, what headlines grabbed the most attention? Whether you’re sipping on coffee or something a bit more robust, settle in with this modern twist on your go-to online news source.

#1 – Unveiling the Truth About ‘Minneapolis Mom’ Renee Nicole Good: Everything You Suspected Confirmed — by Teri Christoph

#2 – Allegations Surface: Wife of Slain Minneapolis Domestic Terrorist Allegedly Recorded Incident, Later Seen Sobbing — by Bob Hoge

#3 – JD Vance’s Amusing and Insightful Prediction for the 2028 Democrat Presidential Nominee — by Mike Miller

#4 – Kamala Criticizes Trump Over ‘Unlawful and Unwise’ Actions Against Maduro, Faces Uncomfortable Truths — by Rusty Weiss

#5 – Consequences for MN Marriott Employee Who Leaked ICE Agents’ Information Online — by Jennifer Oliver O’Connell

This is what endless leftist violent rhetoric has brought us.

#3 – JD Vance Predicts 2028 Democrat Presidential Nominee — His Pick Is Hilarious and Spot On — by Mike Miller

Vance explained that the only thing the Democrats have to run on (as if all of America doesn’t already know) is their psychotic hatred of Trump:

They have nothing to actually run on or govern on. Their entire obsessive focus of that party is they hate Donald Trump. So if they ever get power, are they going to, you know, lower Americans’ taxes? No. Are they going to make your life more affordable? No. Are they going to solve the crime crisis? No.

While Democrat political figures continue to argue to the contrary, the reality is the obvious failure of Democrat-run cities and states, from California to Minnesota to New York (not to mention the “fun” we’re already seeing from the young “democrat socialist” [Marxist] mayor of New York City, Zohran Mamdani), to multiple other out-of-control Democrat messes across the country.

#4 – Kamala Condemns Trump for ‘Unlawful and Unwise’ Take Down of Maduro, Gets Hit by Inconvenient Fact — by Rusty Weiss

Harris went on to suggest that Trump had put troops at risk (the operation led to zero U.S. troop losses) and has no exit plan following Maduro’s capture.

Which is rich. The low-I.Q. Wine Mom who defended the withdrawal from Afghanistan, which infamously resulted in the death of 13 U.S. service members and wounded dozens more, specifically because the Biden-Harris administration had no coherent plan, has some thoughts on troop risks and exit strategy.

Thank goodness this woman is not sitting in the White House right now.

“America needs leadership whose priorities are lowering costs for working families, enforcing the rule of law, strengthening alliances, and — most importantly — putting the American people first,” she concluded.

Harris, of course, was part of an administration that did the exact opposite of every talking point in that last sentence.

#5 – Employee of MN Marriott Hotel Who Stole ICE Agents’ Info, Doxed Them Online Learns the Hard Way — by Jennifer Oliver O’Connell

We know what the Left really wants are dead ICE agents. Full stop. This is why they bitch about ICE agents wearing masks and obscuring the license plates on their vehicles: they want them exposed and vulnerable; as if they aren’t already. The agents do all they can to protect their names and personal information, because a leak of any of this information that can be traced back to them will expose not just him or her, but their families and friends.

It’s not just their lives that are on the line, and with mentally unstable individuals like the transgender-leaning man who recently tried to break into the Ohio home of VP JD Vance and the one who planned to assassinate Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, but was arrested around his D.C. home, these agents cannot afford to have their loved ones put at risk.
