LOS ANGELES — Prepare for a family movie experience you won’t soon forget!

Walt Disney Animation Studios is set to release “Zootopia 2” digitally on January 27, with further availability on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD starting March 3. These releases will include an array of bonus features, such as exclusive behind-the-scenes insights and deleted scenes.

Among the intriguing deleted scenes is “Where Are They Now?” which On The Red Carpet has exclusively shared. This scene was originally intended as an alternative opening, featuring Nick Wilde (voiced by Jason Bateman) and Judy Hopps (voiced by Ginnifer Goodwin) attempting to catch a smuggler at the airport. Although the final cut shifted this action to the docks, this scene provides a fascinating glimpse into the animation process.

The sequel “Zootopia 2” brings back the beloved duo, Nick and Judy, as they embark on a fresh adventure. The rookie officers find themselves tracking down Gary De’Snake, played by Ke Huy Quan, plunging them into new territories of their bustling animal city. This mission will challenge their partnership in unexpected ways.

During its theatrical release, the original film broke records, amassing $1.7 billion globally, and secured its spot as the ninth highest-grossing film of all time. It also holds the distinction of being the top-grossing animated film ever.

The movie’s Original Soundtrack, featuring the hit single “Zoo” by Shakira, has reached over 500 million streams worldwide. Composed by Michael Giacchino, the soundtrack is accessible across all major streaming platforms.
