Hunter Biden claims Israeli intelligence is behind corruption allegations against him and Joe

In a recent interview with Candace Owens, Hunter Biden made bold assertions that Israeli intelligence was behind the corruption allegations targeting him and his father, former President Joe Biden, regarding Ukraine.

During the nearly two-hour conversation, the 56-year-old Biden highlighted two Israeli-American figures—discredited FBI informant Alexander Smirnov and wanted fugitive Gal Luft—as key players in the accusations that led to years-long probes into his family.

Biden contended, “These are the main individuals whose claims have been the basis for all allegations in Congress and beyond concerning my father’s supposed corruption and bribery.”

Owens, known for her controversial conspiracy theories and staunch criticism of Israel, has been a vocal detractor.

Her stance earned her the title of “Antisemite of the Year” from the watchdog organization StopAntisemitism.

Both Smirnov and Luft were pivotal figures in the unsuccessful 2023 House GOP impeachment attempt against President Biden.

Smirnov falsely claimed that Joe Biden and Hunter received a $10 million bribe from a Ukrainian businessman when the elder Biden was vice president.

Smirnov later admitted that it was an explosive lie, and he was jailed to a multi-year sentence.

Luft, who claimed the first family received payments from individuals with ties to the Chinese military, was indicted in 2022 on federal arms trafficking charges.

He was arrested in Cyprus, but fled while on bail before he was extradicted to the US.

Hunter pointed out that Luft is a former Israel Defense Forces officer who is believed to be living in Israel as a fugitive and claimed the “Israelis will not help us locate.”

He also claimed Smirnov is a “known Israeli intelligence agent.”

“Who was in a prison in the United States serving six years and they can’t find him. Bureau prison can’t find him in the prison, he is on furlough, but no one knows where he’s been furloughed to,” Hunter said before adding.

“The only passport he has is an Israeli passport.”

Smirnov’s lawyer told The Post last November his client was released from prison on medical furlough tied to a worsening eye condition.

“There are forces that I used to say, ‘oh this is bulls—t,” he said before asking Owens if she read The Devil’s Chessboard about the CIA’s powerful and secretive rise.

The Biden family faced series of corruption allegations dating back to the Democrat’s run for the White House in 2020, including contents of the infamous laptop, which The Post explosively broke the news about.
