Bad Bunny made headlines when he presented his Grammy award to a child during the Super Bowl halftime show. But who is the child? Here’s what we know.

WASHINGTON — A particular moment from Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime performance captured viewers’ attention and sparked curiosity.

During this iconic event, Bad Bunny, whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, was spotted passing his Grammy award to a young boy who was watching a segment of the artist’s recent Grammy acceptance speech.

So, who was this young boy featured during the halftime show?

Some online speculations quickly pointed to the child being Liam Ramos, a 5-year-old from Minnesota, who was previously detained by immigration authorities and held at an ICE facility in Texas. Liam gained attention after a photo of him being detained at Valley View Elementary School in Columbia Heights went viral.

However, it seems this identification might not be accurate.

Instead, the boy seems to be a child actor by the name of Lincoln Fox.

Social media users found Fox’s Instagram after his halftime show moment and noticed a clip of Bad Bunny’s performance had been posted.

“I’ll remember this day forever,” Fox’s account wrote.

Bad Bunny performed his halftime show entirely in Spanish — as all of his music is recorded in the language, though he has collaborated with English-language artists. The only English singing came from a surprise appearance by Lady Gaga.

There were also some additional celebrity guests: Cardi B, Jessica Alba, Pedro Pascal, Karol G, Young Miko, Ronald Acuña Jr., Alix Earle and Dave Grutman were guests at his pari de marquesina (“house party”).

The wedding during Bad Bunny’s halftime show was real

A couple was actually married during the wedding scene at Bad Bunny’s halftime show.

Representatives for the artist say the couple invited Bad Bunny to their wedding, and he invited them to instead be part of his Super Bowl show.

During a segment where Lady Gaga joined Bad Bunny to perform “Baile Inolvidable,” they took their vows.

Bad Bunny served as a witness and signed their marriage certificate.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.
