A college student tragically passed away during a trip to the Bahamas, only days before his graduation.

Gaurav Jaisingh met his untimely death after an accidental fall from a hotel balcony on Sunday.

At the time of the incident, the US tourist was in his hotel room with his roommates.

Jaisingh was taken to the hospital but died en-route, according to cops in the Bahamas.

Jaisingh, a student at Bentley University, was going to graduate this weekend, senior Sydney Bazin told the outlet WHDH-TV.

And, his death has left fellow seniors stunned.

“It was the last thing I was expecting, especially just a few days away from graduation,” Isabella Abeiga, also a senior, told the outlet.

University officials have described his death as a “tragedy.”

“This is an enormous tragedy for our community,” the college said in a statement.

“We share our deepest condolences with Gaurav’s family, friends and loved ones.

“While local authorities are investigating, it appears Gaurav accidentally fell from a balcony.

“We will share more information when available while respecting his family’s privacy.”

Weeks before his death, Jaisingh shared a montage of snaps from a trip to Puerto Rico.

He shared idyllic shots of the landscape and immersed himself in the island’s culture.

Jaisingh also shared a series of stunning beach snaps that showed the waves lapping up against the coastline.

His death comes just months after another US tourist, Dinari McAlmont, died while on a vacation in the country.

McAlmont was found dead just hours after landing in the Bahamas with his parents.

Cops believe McAlmont drowned, but his family told The U.S. Sun they believe he was killed.

McAlmont’s body was found on a stretch of beach.
