Victoria Gotti told Carmine Gotti Agnello's girlfriend 'you're a rat' after she reported abuse: police sources

Victoria Gotti, known as both a member of a notorious criminal family and a former reality TV personality, has criticized her son Carmine Gotti Agnello’s girlfriend for reporting alleged domestic violence to the authorities. This information was revealed by police sources to The Post.

According to these sources, Gotti confronted Ariana Puran, labeling her as a “rat” and warning her of potential consequences, saying, “Wait until Uncle John hears about this.”

The “Uncle John” in question is John “Junior” Gotti, Victoria’s brother, who assumed leadership of the Gambino crime family after their father, John Gotti, was incarcerated in 1992 on charges including murder and racketeering. The elder Gotti passed away from throat cancer in 2002 at the age of 61.

Authorities report that the incident escalated when Agnello allegedly began physically assaulting Puran, initially pushing and shoving her inside the home. He then reportedly followed her outside, where the altercation continued with slapping, punching, and choking.

This incident is said to have occurred around 10 p.m. on a Tuesday at Victoria Gotti’s residence in East Norwich, Nassau County. Agnello’s aggressive behavior was allegedly triggered by suspicions that Puran was unfaithful, according to the sources.

Police sources also indicate that the altercation included Agnello pushing Puran to the ground and kicking her, resulting in visible bruising and swelling.

He threw her iPhone 17 Pro Max on the ground, where it shattered, police said. The phone is worth about $2,000.

The victim then got into her vehicle, drove away and reported the incident to cops, according to the sources.

Police, looking for Agnello, went to his mom’s house on Wednesday but didn’t find him.

The victim called detectives later that day and said she wanted to drop the charges but whispered into the phone, “He’s here right now,” the sources said.

That call sent detectives rushing back to Gotti’s home, where Agnello’s black Mercedes-Benz was in the driveway.

The victim came out of the home first and Agnello’s lawyer arrived later and escorted him out, the sources said.

He was charged with criminal mischief, criminal obstruction of breathing and third-degree assault, according to court documents. He was released without bail.

Reached by phone on Friday, Puran told The Post she had decided against pursuing a case against Agnello.

“I’m not filing charges against Carmine,” she said. Asked why, she said “because it was a small fight.”

Puran is a lawyer at Mulholland Minion Davey McNiff & Beyer, according to her LinkedIn.

Agnello pleaded guilty in April to lying to obtain COVID relief funds and illegally banking about $1 million. He used the money to invest in cryptocurrency, prosecutors said.

He was sentenced to 15 months in prison and is due to surrender June 12 to serve his sentence.

Agnello’s lawyer didn’t return a call seeking comment.
