A 19-year-old man has been arrested after a Saturday morning shooting at Virginia State University that left five people injured, including one victim who remains in critical condition.
Authorities identified the suspect as Camron Harris of Henrico, Virginia. Officials said Harris is not enrolled at the university, and four of the five people wounded in the shooting are also not Virginia State students.
The victims range in age from 17 to 23. Police said the only injured person who is a student received treatment at a hospital and has since been released.
Officials have not publicly released the names of the victims.
Investigators have not disclosed any details about a possible motive in the Virginia State University shooting.

Police secured eight felony warrants against Harris, including charges tied to malicious wounding and the use of a firearm while committing a felony.
Harris was transported to the Chesterfield County Jail following his arrest.
He is currently being held without bond.
Authorities said that additional charges may be filed.
The university said in an earlier statement that authorities were searching for multiple suspects, but police provided no additional information Saturday evening about the search.
University officials said earlier Saturday that law enforcement did not believe there is an immediate threat to the community on campus, and a lockdown has been lifted.
