Minion Todd has vanished.
Less than two weeks after a giant “slime monster” and a collection of Minion characters were installed at West Hollywood’s famed Carney’s Train Restaurant, one of the fan-favorite figures has reportedly been stolen.
According to the WeHo Times, employees said a bold thief pulled up in broad daylight, grabbed the Minion Todd statue from the restaurant’s railing along Sunset Boulevard and quickly drove away.
The report said the security guard posted at the popular burger spot was left stunned by the swift theft.

The full promotional display, named Irene, was installed at Carney’s Train on June 18 by Monster City Studios as part of a campaign for the animated film “Minions and Monsters.”
The elaborate installation features several pneumatic eyeballs, more than 18 Minion statues and a massive 80-foot-long slime monster stretched across the roof of the restaurant’s 1920s passenger coach.
Monster City Studios described the project as a “pretty big build” — and a heavy one — noting that crews had to construct a support system above the train to avoid damaging the nearly century-old vehicle.
The seventh film in the “Despicable Me” franchise, set in 1920s Hollywood, opened in theaters nationwide on July 1. The movie introduces two new Minions, James and Henry, and follows a misfit group of Minions who accidentally stumble onto a film set and become major silent-film stars.
Carney’s remains the ultimate relic of the Sunset Strip’s wild rock ‘n’ roll heyday.
The world has seen a million face-lifts in 50 years, but the burger stand is serving the same messy, chili cheese fries and flame-grilled burgers that fueled rock gods and late-night ragers spilling out of The Roxy and Whisky a Go Go in 1975.
