In a playful twist, the White House unveiled a collection of humorous Valentine’s Day cards on its social media platforms this past Friday. These cards spotlight some of the most iconic meme-worthy moments from President Trump’s second term.
One card playfully states, “You captured my heart,” and features an image of former Venezuelan leader Nicolas Maduro being escorted out of Venezuela, shackled and blindfolded, as part of Operation Absolute Resolve.
Another card humorously frames the infamous photo of Senator Chris Van Hollen (D-Md.) allegedly “sipping margaritas” alongside MS-13 gang member Kilmar Abrego Garcia in El Salvador. The card cheekily reads: “My love for you is as strong as Democrats’ love for illegal aliens.”
The accompanying love note adds a whimsical touch: “I’d fly 1,537 miles to have a drink with you!”
One more card displays President Trump showcasing a newly signed executive order with the caption: “Executive Order 4547 … UR My Valentine.”
The White House also took a lighthearted jab at President Trump’s controversial interest in purchasing Greenland, a notion that faced resistance from the residents of the self-governing Danish territory and European leaders alike.
âItâs time we define our situationship,â reads the card with a heart around Arctic island.
One of the sombreros the White House used to troll Democratic leaders Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) during the record-long, 43-day government shutdown last fall is also featured.
The sombrero is referred to on the card as âMy Ex.â
Trump signature Truth Social sign off â âThank you for your attention to this matterâ â is the message on another note, with an arrow directing the phrase towards the words âmy heart.â
Secretary of State Marco Rubioâs expansive job portfolio has spawned a thousand memes â and now a Valentineâs Day card.
âDonât make me work for your love,â reads the card poking fun at the many hats Rubio has had to wear throughout Trumpâs second term.
