An Ohio man was arrested after authorities said he secretly photographed members of a college women’s soccer team while hiding in the ceiling above their locker room, according to local media reports.
Jayson Barker of Jeffersonville is facing 11 counts of voyeurism after he was allegedly found inside the ceiling area above the women’s locker room at Wilmington College, WLWT-TV reported.
Wilmington police were called to the Scheve Athletic Center shortly before 9:40 p.m. Tuesday after receiving reports that someone was taking pictures of team members while they changed clothes.

By the time officers arrived, Wilmington College Campus Safety personnel had detained Barker, officials said.

According to investigators, Barker was working on campus as a contract custodial employee and had concealed himself in the locker room ceiling before a team member discovered him.

“The college’s paramount concern is the safety and well-being of its students,” the school said in a statement to the news outlet. “We have been providing counseling and other support services for the affected students since Tuesday night and are taking measures to ensure that no student’s safety or well-being is compromised. Also, the college continues to assist with law enforcement’s investigation.”
Barker remains held at the Clinton County Jail on a $22,000 cash surety bond. He faces 11 voyeurism counts and is due back in court Oct. 5.
