Zohran Mamdani Touts His 'Racial Equity Plan' for NYC — What Could Go Wrong?

We’ve witnessed this scenario play out before: discrimination cloaked in terms like “Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion” and “ensuring equitable outcomes.” These concepts often manifest as attempts to give preferential treatment to certain “disadvantaged” individuals while sidelining those perceived as “privileged.”

President Donald Trump has opposed such measures from the outset of his tenure, signing an executive order titled “Ending Radical And Wasteful Government DEI Programs And Preferencing.” This initiative aimed to purge the federal government of biased policies.

Conversely, New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani appears to embrace systemic bias. On Monday, the democratic socialist unveiled his controversial “Preliminary Citywide Racial Equity Plan,” which has a distinctly Marxist tone. While Americans face challenges with living costs, the solution isn’t to tilt the balance in favor of specific groups—a move that seems to be his intention:

Wow. That sounds like a declaration to heavily tax successful New Yorkers, decide economic victors and losers, dismantle capitalism, and usher in a socialist ideal. If that’s not the message, then what is?

Mamdani may wear a confident smile, yet he seems unaware that nearly all historical attempts at communist-socialist societies have ended in failure.

Harmeet Dhillon, Assistant Attorney General for the Department of Justice’s Civil Rights Division, who is speculated to be on the verge of being promoted to Associate Attorney General, shared her perspective:

Mamdani may have a Cheshire Cat-like grin, but he doesn’t seem to be aware that almost every communist-socialist society attempted in history has been a miserable failure.

Department of Justice Assistant Attorney General for the Civil Rights Division Harmeet Dhillon — who is rumored to soon be promoted to Associate Attorney General — had thoughts:

Mamdani Hammered for Statement on Infant Shot and Killed in His NYC: ‘Should Be Ashamed’

Dhillon wasn’t the only conservative voice to note that Mamdani basically just said he wants to practice discrimination:

Mamdani says “black and brown New Yorkers are hit the hardest” by the affordability crisis and that his racial equity plan will be a “whole of government approach” to solve “decades of neglect and discrimination.” He says “it places the work of 45 city agencies within a singular framework.”

The reality is Mamdani is implementing blatantly racist policies that reward and punish people based on their skin color.

Whoever becomes the new U.S. Attorney General needs to immediately prosecute Mamdani for his clearly discriminatory and unconstitutional governing.

Mamdani has been every bit as bad as we thought he’d be, and so much more. Harmeet Dhillon and whoever replaces Pam Bondi as attorney general will need to keep the heat on this extremist, because apparently, he’d love to turn the Big Apple into a giant urban version of Cuba.

Editor’s Note: New York City is now facing the consequences of Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s socialist takeover.
