A TikTok sensation hailing from western Sydney has resurfaced at her parents’ rented home in Bankstown, stepping into the spotlight for reasons far removed from her usual content. Yisra El Mayoubed, who has captivated over 508,000 TikTok followers with her vibrant videos and signature phrase “2200 Bratha,” is now facing charges related to an alleged altercation at a local hair salon.
El Mayoubed’s online notoriety has typically stemmed from her engaging outfit showcases, candid vlogs, and spirited rants, gaining her a dedicated following. However, her recent legal troubles have shifted public attention toward an incident that unfolded at Hair in the Square in Bankstown Central, where she was allegedly involved in a violent skirmish alongside her mother.
The situation reportedly escalated when El Mayoubed was informed that the salon could not accommodate her request for a color treatment due to the late hour. Online footage purportedly captures the ensuing commotion, with El Mayoubed seen shouting, pulling hair, and allegedly using a pot plant as a weapon before throwing punches at the salon staff. In a bizarre turn, one employee appeared to defend themselves with a hairdryer during the melee.
The chaotic scene reportedly concluded when a woman in a high-visibility shirt intervened, allegedly ejecting El Mayoubed from the premises. This incident has certainly cast a new light on the TikTok star, whose previous claim to fame was celebrating her hometown of Bankstown in a viral video.
Footage circulating online appears to show the social media star yelling and screaming, pulling hair, and allegedly wielding a pot plant before throwing punches at staff. At one point, a salon employee appeared to use a hairdryer to fend off blows.
The wild scene only reached an end when a woman wearing a hi-vis shirt allegedly grabbed El Mayoubed and kicked her out of the salon.
NSW Police were called to Hair in the Square inside Bankstown Central just after 3.15pm on Sunday following reports of an assault.
In a since-deleted TikTok, posted after videos of the alleged incident went viral, the 23-year-old claimed she had acted in self-defence.

The former makeup artist is now doing a course to become a mine worker
She was arrested the following day and charged with affray.
‘Officers attached to Bankstown Police Area Command attended and were told two female customers were involved in a physical altercation with a third woman before she left the scene,’ NSW Police said in a statement.
When she fronted court on Monday, the former makeup artist broke down in tears as her lawyer detailed her troubled past and revealed she has enrolled in a course to become a mine worker.
She was granted bail under strict conditions, including reporting to police three times per week.
The influencer declined to comment as she left court.
She was previously seen going incognito leaving Bankstown police station reporting for bail
She is no stranger to controversy. In 2022, she went viral after stepping into the boxing ring against fellow TikTok star Persian Mina
On Wednesday morning, we photographed her being picked up from the Bankstown Police Station by a male companion before she was dropped off to her parents’ home.
She was seen dressed in all black, wearing tracksuit pants, and a long hooded jacket after she emerged on her parents’ driveway.
On Tuesday, her mother was overheard discussing her daughter’s weekend fracas during a phone call, telling the person on the other end: ‘She’s been all over the news.’
