Whistleblower Says Detectives Investigating Andrew Are Ignoring Concerns

British police are failing to act on evidence that disgraced royal Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor allegedly brought a woman into Buckingham Palace, according to a former royal protection officer turned whistleblower.

Paul Page said he ultimately decided to pass his allegations to the FBI after claiming that British authorities had ignored the information.

He also provided a copy of his dossier to US Representative Thomas Massie, who last week alleged that Andrew had committed sex crimes in the United States alongside Jeffrey Epstein.

Page, who spent six years working at Buckingham Palace, claims security procedures were loosened between 1997 and 2004 to allow Andrew to bring several women into the royal residence.

He alleges that Ghislaine Maxwell and other young women were permitted to make secret visits to the Palace “multiple times a week”, while police allegedly did not record their names in official logbooks.

Speaking in February, Page said officers were instructed not to challenge Andrew’s female visitors. “With Andrew’s women, multiple times a week, we were just told not to question it,” he said. “We weren’t allowed to know the names. We didn’t ask, because the bottom line is, because of fear, we didn’t want to get booted off our post.”

He added: “One of the ongoing jokes was that Andrew should have a revolving door in his bedroom, because of the number of women that were coming in and out.”

Andrew was arrested a week later, on February 19, on suspicion of misconduct in public office linked to his period as a trade envoy from 2001 to 2011. The arrest followed the release of files relating to Epstein.

Thames Valley Police continues to investigate the former royal, who has denied wrongdoing.

Page told The Telegraph: “Earlier in 2026, I contacted Thames Valley Police in connection with its investigation and made clear that I had information arising from my first-hand experience as a former Metropolitan Police Royal Protection officer. I received no response.”

‘I have now formally documented my first-hand information in a written statement lodged with the FBI.

‘That statement sets out matters arising from my experience in Royal Protection concerning Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, Ghislaine Maxwell and women whose access to Buckingham Palace I personally encountered, together with the relevant chronology and documentary material available to me.

‘I consider that I have therefore fulfilled my responsibility as a potential witness by formally documenting and lodging the information with a law-enforcement authority.’

Mr Page received a letter from the head of royal protection reminding him of his obligations of confidentiality to the Royal family in light of his claims.

But the retired officer saw this as an attempt to silence him while the police were appealing for witnesses to come forward.

He lodged a formal complaint and alleged improper communication by a senior serving officer, which is currently being investigated by the Met.

Mr Page previously described Andrew as a ‘bully’ and went to the police amid claims one woman was allegedly flown into the UK on Jeffrey Epstein’s ‘Lolita Express’ and brought to the former prince under the codename ‘Mrs Windsor’.

He told The Sun in February: ‘We were just told a female will be coming at whatever time. It’s always after closing, and a female will be approaching the front gate.

‘We were told to call footmen and then either the female would walk through unescorted, or the footman would come down to collect her and walk her to Andrew’.

He added: ‘We put it down to him being a sh*gger, and because he’s a prince, and he wouldn’t give us the names because he’s a complete a**ehole to staff.’

Sources have claimed that several women would be whisked in to see Andrew without security clearance at Buckingham Palace using the ‘Mrs Windsor’ codename. 

Detectives said in February that it was ‘identifying and contacting’ former and current royal protection officers for evidence about Andrew’s conduct.

In May they broadened the appeal to ‘anyone with relevant information’, which was widely seen as an admission that the investigation was losing momentum.

Mr Page was convicted of fraud and jailed for three years in 2009 after it was revealed he was running a syndicate while at Buckingham Palace called the Currency Club.

He had also been running a £3million Ponzi scheme with more than 100 other officers.

US Representative Massie stirred up the investigation in America when earlier this month he demanded that Epstein’s associates ‘be investigated and prosecuted’ and the release of a further three million files.

He named former Barclays bank chief Jes Staley and stage magician David Copperfield, ‘And Prince Andrew,’ who he claimed ‘committed sex crimes in the US’.

Mr Page took Mr Massie’s announcement as an invitation to ‘assist’ the US investigation by sending over his allegations to the congressman.

Andrew has been linked to four women in the Epstein Files, along with Virginia Giuffre.

Our News Outlet revealed in February that Epstein took a young Romanian model to a private dinner at Buckingham Palace with his friend Andrew. Epstein said the royal thought she was ‘beautiful’, adding: ‘No man looks at your clothes, they see through them.’

Another ‘enchanting’ Russian model was invited with Epstein to a separate dinner at the Palace, and in 2010, the paedophile offered to introduce Andrew to a different 26-year-old Russian woman, known as ‘Irana’.

Another woman was said to have visited Andrew at his former home Royal Lodge and then was invited to Buckingham Palace for tea. 

Mr Mountbatten-Windsor has consistently denied any wrongdoing.

A Thames Valley Police spokesman said: ‘Misconduct in public office is a complex crime and requires a thorough investigation. Our experienced team is working meticulously through a significant amount of information. While we cannot go into specific details of our investigation, we are following all reasonable lines of enquiry.’
