Wrestler beaten by MMA star's son in barbaric attack reveals injuries

More than a week following a brutal attack by Raja Jackson, the son of MMA icon Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson, independent wrestler Stuart Smith has been discharged from the hospital.

Smith and Contessa Patterson, who appears to be SkyoStu’s wife, released a joint statement updating his condition.

When exactly Smith was released from the hospital is unclear, while the post accompanying the statement has a photo of Smith smiling.

According to an Instagram update, “Stuart is now at home after leaving the hospital and is recuperating. He suffered a significant head injury and was unconscious when brought to the emergency room. His injuries include damage to both the upper and lower jaws, a cut on his upper lip, and a fractured maxilla, leading to the unfortunate loss of several teeth.”

‘He has a long road of recovery ahead, but he remains in good spirits despite everything he has been through.’

“We are immensely thankful for all the love and support received during this challenging period. Appreciation goes to everyone who offered help in any manner, whether through donations, food, flowers, or gifts. Your generosity is indescribable. Thank you from the depths of my heart.”

Smith, who was viciously attacked by Jackson, was reported to have been conscious and recalled some details from the incident when he was unexpectedly beaten in an unscripted assault inside the wrestling ring.

Chilling footage from an independent event surfaced earlier this month, showing Raja repeatedly striking Smith in the head as he lay lifeless on the mat during the unexpected attack.

Earlier, the 25-year-old had jumped from his ringside seat into the ring. He then hoisted Smith—also known as ‘Syko Stu’—over his head, slammed him onto the floor, and landed numerous punches.

Around half a dozen people eventually intervened before he left the arena, with Smith later taken to hospital following the vicious assault.

While fleeing the scene, Raja was captured ranting about people ‘calling me a b****’ in a video circulating online as he explained why he rendered the wrestler unconscious.

‘I’m tired of motherf***ers playing with me bro. Real sh**,’ he said to the camera while sporting blood on his white T-shirt.

‘I’m tired of everybody f***ing playing with me and sh**. Think I’m always playing and sh**, calling me b**** and sh**… I’m not no f***ing b****, bro.

‘At the end of the day, I’m going to stand up for my f***ing self because I’m tired of everybody f***ing playing with me. Real sh**!’

Another video also shows Jackson taking a phone call after the attack from someone named ‘Andre’, who told him that he had gone too far with his actions.

After being asked why he stormed the ring and assaulted Smith, Raja stressed to Andre that he had ‘p***ed me off’.

Andre was then heard saying that Smith had been ‘flatlined’ in the ring before the call came to an end.

Per Ringside News, the state California is preparing to take over the investigation into Jackson for his assault on Smith.

Since the incident, the WWE has disassociated from the promotion, while KnoxX Pro’s wrestling school is rapidly losing students, per Sports Illustrated.
