A TEACHER has been charged with having sex with a 16-year-old student after allegedly telling a colleague about the sick affair.

Jocelyn Sanroman, 26, is now facing a felony charge of third-degree criminal sexual conduct.

The alleged sexual relationship reportedly occurred in 2023 while she was employed at Oakside Prep Academy near Detroit, Michigan.

The successful charter school features a “Moral Focus” curriculum designed to assist students in recognizing and valuing the distinction between right and wrong, as stated on its website.

Sanroman had not been arraigned as of Monday morning, but Oakland County deputies had posted her mugshot online, the New York Post reports.

Prosecutors claim Sanroman, of Pontiac, admitted to another teacher that she was having sex with a student.

That coworker than reportedly informed law enforcement, triggering the criminal investigation.

Oakland County Prosecutor Karen McDonald issued a statement saying, “This defendant is alleged to have abused her authoritative role to take advantage of a minor victim.

“These allegations represent the ultimate breach of trust placed in educators by parents and the community.”

“As a former educator, I commend the teacher who alerted the authorities to this matter, safeguarding other students from additional exploitation,” she continued.

Sanroman could face up to 15 years in prison if convicted on the charge.

It comes after a married teacher from Indiana allegedly asked three underage boys to “gangbang” her while wearing a Scream mask.

Brittany Fortinberry, 31, was facing a barrage of charges after multiple alleged victims accused her of rape, sexual exploitation, and plying them with drugs and alcohol.

Court documents claim that the former Eminence High School teacher groomed at least 10 boys – some as young as 13 – through gifts, manipulation, and disturbing sexual advances.

In March, five more alleged victims came forward, with her husband Nicholas Fortinberry also facing charges for allegedly knowing about the abuse and threatening the boys to keep quiet.

A police affidavit alleged that Fortinberry took a 13-year-old and two of his friends to a mall before calling their parents to ask if they could spend the night at her home.

Once they were there, she allegedly ordered them to have group sex with her — on the condition that they wore a Scream mask.

“Brittany had one condition for them to have the gangbang with her and that was that they had to wear a Scream mask to f**k her,” the affidavit states.

The mask is a reference to the Ghostface disguise worn by the killers in the famous horror movie series.

Meanwhile in Tennessee, a teacher who raped a 12-year-old student and became pregnant was sentenced to 25 years in prison.

Alissa McCommon, who taught at Charger Academy, was accused of using her position of trust and authority to exploit minors in her care, cultivating relationships with kids both inside and outside the classroom.

Her sentencing came amid chilling allegations that she may have as many as 21 victims.

The former fourth-grade teacher pleaded guilty to charges including child rape, statutory rape, solicitation of minors, and sexual exploitation of minors.

Circuit Court Judge Blake Neill imposed a sentence of 25 years without the possibility of parole and ordered McCommon to register as a Violent Sex Offender.

Authorities said McCommon gained access to her victims by forming personal bonds, engaging with them on social media, and even befriending their mothers.
