What movies and TV shows has India Eisley appeared in?
The Secret Life of the American Teenager
Eisley’s breakthrough came with the ABC Family drama The Secret Life of the American Teenager. She played Ashley Juergens, the younger sister of Amy Juergens, from 2008 until the series ended in 2013.
Ashley was one of Eisley’s most recognizable early roles. The series focused on teenage pregnancy, family relationships, school, and the pressures surrounding adolescence. Its long television run gave Eisley a substantial early audience and established her as a working young performer.
Underworld: Awakening and Kite
In 2012, Eisley appeared in Underworld: Awakening as Eve, the hybrid daughter of vampire warrior Selene. The action-horror film placed her in a major franchise alongside Kate Beckinsale and expanded her profile beyond television drama.
She later played Sawa in the 2014 action film Kite. The movie was based on the 1998 Japanese animated film and gave Eisley a physically demanding lead role in a darker, revenge-driven story.
Other film roles
Eisley’s film credits also include The Curse of Sleeping Beauty, in which she played Briar Rose, and Clinical, where she appeared as Nora. She was also associated with projects including AmeriGeddon, Nanny Cam, and Every Breath You Take.

One of Eisley’s most significant television roles came in the 2019 TNT limited series I Am the Night. She played Fauna Hodel, a young woman investigating her identity and family history after learning disturbing information about her background.
The series was inspired by the real-life story of Fauna Hodel and her connection to the notorious 1947 Black Dahlia investigation. Eisley starred opposite Chris Pine, who played former journalist Jay Singletary.
Her performance earned an acting nomination at the Satellite Awards in the category recognizing leading actresses in a miniseries, limited series, or television film. The role marked a shift from the teen-oriented drama that first made her known and demonstrated her ability to carry a more mature mystery series.
